Our Sunday School runs from September to May in the Church Hall from 10:15am to 11:15am. We welcome children from nursery school age through to Year 7.  Our team of Sunday School teachers are all from the church and are all vetted by AccessNI.

We commence each week with an opening prayer and some chorus singing. During the time together we also have a short Bible reading, memory verse or quiz to start the morning before the children go to their classes at 10:40am. Each week the children are taught a Bible lesson from the Word of God as they follow a series of lessons produced by the Gospel Project. The children also learn memory verses throughout the year.

The Sunday School collects any 1p and 2p coins as well as other loose change throughout the year and this money is gifted to a ministry called Spud Bear Ministries. Used stamps are also collected, which goes towards the printing of Bibles.

A special day in the calendar of the Sunday School is Children’s Day which happens at the end of May.  On this day the children take part in singing and each class brings a Biblical messages based upon a chosen theme for the day. Weeks of practice goes into Children’s Day and we are greatly encouraged to see the families and friends of the children in attendance. The children receive their prizes in the evening service followed by a well-deserved sweet treat in the Church Hall afterwards for everyone.
